What is Tap & Scale?
The model in five minutes — warehouse, dashboard, Ads copilot, and the safe-apply policy.
Tap & Scale is a warehouse + safe-write layer over one or more Apple Search Ads accounts. It pulls your Apple Ads data into a normalized warehouse, shows it in an operator dashboard, runs recurring audits, and lets an AI copilot optimize the account under a policy that keeps every money-moving change in bounds.
It is a single operator, multi-account tool — no teams, seats, or billing. You connect one set of Apple Ads API credentials, and every Apple Ads org that credential can reach becomes an account (a "project") in the app.
The dashboard or your agent
There are two ways to drive an account, and they reach the same engine:
- The dashboard — work the audit roadmap and the approval queue in the app.
- Your agent — drive the same tools from Claude, Claude Code or Codex over MCP.
Same warehouse, same audit, same safe-apply policy, same approval queue and revert ledger. Everything in these docs applies to both.
How it fits together
Connect credentials
You paste your Apple Ads API credentials once, in Workspace → Settings → Integrations → Apple Ads. They're encrypted at rest and never leave the server. One credential set reaches every org your Apple Ads API role permits. See Connect an account.
Import orgs and sync
You import the orgs you want to manage. A background worker syncs each account — a nightly 14-day full pull plus a six-hourly incremental — into the warehouse. See How sync works.
Set optimization targets
You set a daily spend goal and a CPA band per account. These drive both the recommendation feed and the safe-apply policy. See Optimization targets.
Optimize
The dashboard, the Ads copilot, and the MCP tools all read the same warehouse and propose changes through the same safe path. Bounded, low-risk changes auto-apply; everything else queues in Approvals for you to review.
What it is not
Apple Search Ads is not Google Ads, and this tool models Apple's surface honestly. There is no ROAS/revenue signal, quality score, ad strength, responsive text ads, audiences, experiments, or bid modifiers — none of those exist in Apple Search Ads. The metrics are Apple's: taps (not clicks), installs, TTR, CPT, CPA. See Apple Ads vocabulary.
